AXA Training Ground, Liverpool FC, Switchable Smart Glass Partition Installation.
We were approached by a long-standing client of ours, to provide our installation services for a project at Liverpool Football AXA training ground in Knowsley. The works consisted of the installation of five large switchable smart film/glass partitioning screens which formed part of a full refurbishment in the offices across two floors.
Due to the location of the project, all works had to be commenced and completed during the football summer break. We conducted a preliminary site survey to establish that the installation was achievable within the programme and as soon as the football season had stopped, we started onsite with 4weeks to completion. This was a tight timeframe.

Altitude Glass was chosen for a large-scale project in a 220-room hotel in the former Echo Newspaper building in Liverpool. The scope of the project was particularly ambitious – our team was tasked with processing and installing over 1200 custom pieces of glass, over 14 floors. These glass partitions needed to be measured, drawn up with Computer Aided Design Technology, cut, toughened and part-sandblasted, delivered, distributed, before finally being installed.

Our team at Altitude Glass were very proud to be chosen to install stunning glass partition walls in UCLan’s recently opened Engineering Innovation Centre, a state-of-the-art facility developed to drive engineering innovation in the North West. This work involved a major installation of an 11m long by 3m tall glass wall, with two pivoting doors in the centre, designed to create a clear separation between the technician’s office from the workshops.
As part of the extensive refurbishment of the Easy Hotel in central Birmingham, Altitude Glass was chosen to deliver over 80 frosted glass screens bedroom en-suite. Since the project took place in an historic building, space was at a premium, and all the rooms were entirely bespoke. This meant that our team needed to supply and install custom sizes of glass screens for each room.
